Been a while.....

Been a while since I have posted any blogs on any of my sites and to be honest I don't really have the time to devote to this one...but....

I am studying for my last essay of my course, and its a killer. If I pass it I will pass my degree course, but its a 4500 word epic. I have already had to change course on it totally thanks to my less than helpful personal tutor, who reckons the subject is too personal to me and I can't detach myself enough from it. I think that is my decision to make. The subject is how domestic abuse affects children's development. I will let you draw your own conclusions from that.

At the same time as this, I am working 12 and half hour shifts at the hospital in the Children's ward, GP Bay. This is an area where children come for assessment and sometimes have to be admitted to the ward. If a GP or A&E are not sure about how to treat them or if they think the condition is severe enough to warrant hospitalisation, then this is where they come. All my fellow students who have been on placement here said it was boring and quiet...well so far I haven't had that experience, lol. I have been run off my wee feet!! never been home early , in fact late every night so far and its certainly NOT boring! I am really enjoying it.

Other than that I don't have a lot of time for much else right now, Ashley, my daughter lives too far away for me to see her till at least Christmas I think and Alistair, my son, is having car trouble...so what's new. :) We found him a VW Polo which was supposed to be a bomb proof little car which was economical to run, well, it's economical but mainly because it's off the road in the garage and it may be terminal......hope not tho. Can't face having to go searching for another one, took long enough to find that one!!

Anyways, I will try to add more bits and bobs next time.
